XOXA (pronounced ex-oh-ex-ay) is a Brooklyn based collective of women & non binary DJs, artists and performers founded in 2017. We throw all inclusive queer events-featuring (mainly) house & techno DJs in different locations. Our focus is on creating safe spaces for all and providing a supportive platform for women & non-binary artists to perform. We currently hold a bi monthly residency at Jupiter Disco & the last Saturday of every month at The Keep in addition to appearances at other events and roving parties. You can follow @xoxanyc on Facebook and Instagram for more information on upcoming events or subscribe to our calendar.
The collective currently consists of four resident DJs; Panooc, Honey B, Kandylion & Rabia Khan and three performers, Tanya, Medea & Gia Fagnelli. XOXA works with many talented guest DJs, performers and artists locally, nationally and internationally. We have completed two UK tours including well known venues & parties such as Egg LDN, Dalston Superstore, VFDalston, Netil Radio, Rumpus party, Cabaret Voltaire & Shoot your Shot. XOXA has held residencies at well known NYC venues such as House of Yes, Jupiter Disco, The Deep End and The Keep. We have been featured in The New York Times, Time Out NY, Go Mag, Bushwick Daily and more.
